Plot
Sunayana Sen is a young editor working at a book publishing house. She enters into a liaison with Ashok Sube, a middle-aged surgeon, whose wife has left him and has fled with their little daughter. The book appears to end with a love letter, where Sube proposes to Sen and asks her to be his lover and editor both and blend the personal with the professional.
